Phil wrote this song using the pseudonym Ellen Carrol already in 1960 but recorded it himself only in August 1975 for inclusion to his solo album 'Mystic Line'.

To his own statement he probably wrote the song for his first wife (Jackie Ertel). He usually needed a catylyst to write a song and then wrote right from what he could feel.

Phil could write the most amazing lyrics, he was a brilliant 'Wordsmith'. Great lyrics when Phil was only 21.
